Tears Tell the Story

This Wednesday in our Lenten series, Pastor Rick Swanson will bring us a message about “Impossible Tears: Jesus Promises Grief Will Turn to Joy.” This week, meditation makes us slow way down and contemplate the depth of the disciples’ fears, wonder, and grief as Jesus tells them of his quickly approaching death. Compared to a mother’s labor pains, each of the disciples “labor” through their grief only slowly, one by one, coming to realize the great joy of our Lord’s resurrection from the dead.
