Parents of Trinity Students—For the school year parents are asked to check their TLS FastDirect account for a message from the Board of Parish Education. We have modified the process for payment of tuition assistance for member students. A fully completed and signed application form for each student and a covenant of compliance form for each family must be submitted by Friday, May 20 in order to begin tuition assistance payments to TLS in June. Application and covenant forms, as well as Board of Parish Education policies for tuition assistance are also available on the information table in the narthex. Completed application forms may be turned in to the church office, the Board of Parish Education mailbox in the hall outside the church office, or to any board member. Please contact Andrew Sporleder (395-9905), Dean Hopkins (636-2804), or Sara Hartman (635-8633) with questions. Thank you for your assistance. It is a joy to help provide a Christian education to our member children.
Diapers—Lutherans for Life is collecting diapers (any size) between Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day. These diapers will be given to Birthright for mothers in need. Help us out by putting them in the playpen in the narthex, thanks.
Teens Encounter Christ—“TEC” will be held this year at Faith Lutheran Church on Saturday, June 11, at 10 a.m., through Monday, June 13, at 7 p.m. TEC is for teens and adults 16 years and older. The retreat is led by Lutheran lay persons, youth, and clergy who have already attended a TEC weekend as they share themselves through talks, worship, prayer, fellowship, recreation, and prayer. TEC retreat gives participants an opportunity to experience the Risen Lord is a personal and refreshing way, apart from the business of life. Needed: TEC Supply Donations—We are in need of the following items for the upcoming TEC weekend: Six 24 pack canned soda any kind, six 24 count water bottles any size, 100 candy bars or M&M type candies, 100 granola or snack bars, 1 bag of Dum Dum suckers, pencils and pens. Thank you for considering a donation from this list. Please bring items to the church office and label them TEC WEEKEND. You are welcome to make a cash donation for items to be purchased. Please give to Barb in the church office. Thank you very much for your support and prayers as we prepare for this retreat!!
Calvary Golf Outing—Fulton’s Tanglewood Golf Course will host the 7th Annual Calvary Lutheran High School Golf Outing on June 10th. The four person scramble format provides a great afternoon of golf. The event begins with lunch at noon, a shot-gun start at 1 p.m., and ends with dinner and drawings. Please consider joining us for a wonderful afternoon of fun and fellowship. Calvary Barbeque—Come to Calvary High School and enjoy some delicious barbeque while shopping for your plants on Friday and Saturday. The Golf Tournament team will be serving pork steaks, hamburgers, and brats on Friday evening from 4-7 p.m. and again on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come and enjoy some
wonderful food!
Calvary High School’s Spring Concert—Calvary’s choir will present their annual Spring Concert this Tuesday evening, May 10th, 7 p.m., at Calvary Lutheran High School. Come and enjoy a wide selection
of music including a small group and several special choreographed selections.
Calvary’s Graduation—Everyone is invited to attend Calvary’s third commencement service. This service will be held on May 28th, 1 p.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Honey Creek,
Girls Softball, Boys Baseball, and Boys Basketball Coaches — Calvary is accepting coaching applications for the positions of junior varsity girls softball, varsity boys baseball, and varsity boys basketball. Calvary’s Thank you to everyone who worked on committees, donated items, attended the event, and financially supported our Spring Fling. Your assistance made this event a wonderful success.
Calvary’s Recruitment—Applications for the 2011-12 school year are now being accepted. We thank God that he has already graciously provided 14 families who are seeking a Lutheran, Christ-centered education.

Camping/Canoe Trip—For the last 11 summers, a group of families from here at Faith have gone together on a camping/canoe trip. This year we’re trying a new place but reservations are needed and soon as it’s a popular place. The dates are June 22-26. Some families stay the whole time, some just come for a few nights. If camping isn’t your thing, we can let you know about nearby hotels. If you’re interested in more details, contact Holly Oberkrom at 893-6307 or glohao "at" aol.com. So far we have four families going! Fun!
